On the first day of November 2024, SALIS released the October production and sales report as scheduled. According to the data, the sales volume of SALIX new energy vehicles in October was 36011 units, an increase of 104.61% year-on-year; from January to October 2024, the cumulative sales volume of SALIX new energy vehicles has reached 352724 units, an increase of 310.99% year-on-year.
With such a large volume to achieve a growth rate of more than 300%, in the field of automobile manufacturing can definitely be described as a “miracle”. Located in the mountainous city of Chongqing, the Sallis Super Factory is the home base of the miracle-working Inquisition Series.
In this factory, which covers an area of 2,757 acres, equivalent to 200 soccer fields, more than 1,600 intelligent equipments and more than 3,000 robots work together in an intelligent manner, and after dozens of complicated and strict procedures, an M9 will officially come off the production line.
Super Factory, Super Intelligence
Walking into the four major workshops of stamping, welding, painting and final assembly of SALIX Super Factory, it feels like walking into the future world: the flexible waving mechanical arms and the back and forth shuttling transfer robots are dazzling; outside the workshop, a large number of driverless Q-Truck, a purely electric heavy-duty truck, are busily working in an orderly manner. Here, it is not only super cool, but also super intelligent.
With the help of AI, big data and IoT technologies, the super factory can realize design verification and virtual production through simulation before formal production, and locate, analyze and optimize the links that may have problems in the production process. At the same time, early warning, monitoring and tracing are realized in key production links, and 100% quality data are automatically collected during the whole process from the steel plate entering the line to the whole vehicle coming off the line, so that the real-time testing equipment status can be recorded and uploaded to exclude the relevant problems in the manufacturing process, which greatly improves the production efficiency and testing accuracy.
Take the vehicle chassis screw detection as an example, before the 162 screws for manual detection, at least 5 minutes. The AI inspection, however, takes only 5 seconds, increasing the efficiency by 60 times, while the accuracy rate reaches 100%!

Super factory, 7-day rapid deployment of data center
Huawei's intelligent micro-module FusionModule2000 solution is used in the data center of the Sallis Super Factory. The modular design integrates Power Supply, temperature control, cabinet access, cabling, and other subsystems in a single module, realizing one module and one data center, without the need for a raised floor and with strong environmental adaptability, and the deployment was completed in just 7 days, creating a “new speed” in modular data center construction.
The micro-module adopts closed channels to isolate heat and cold, deploys row-level air conditioners to achieve proximal cooling, effectively improves the heat exchange efficiency, and maximizes the use of natural cooling sources through fluorine pumps to achieve a very low PUE, making the data center greener and more efficient.
In addition, Ceres data center also realizes minimal operation and maintenance. Traditional data center operation and maintenance basically relies on manual inspection, which is difficult and takes a long time to locate faults. Huawei's intelligent micromodule relies on a 43-inch intelligent large screen to realize the visual management of the entire chain of power supply and distribution, temperature control, and reduce the difficulty of operation and maintenance. At the same time, the micro-module also supports mobile intelligent management, realizing 7×24-hour remote operation and maintenance through the APP, so that the operation and maintenance personnel do not need to go to the site and can check the status of the equipment at any time, which comprehensively improves the efficiency of operation and maintenance and ensures the stable operation of the “super brain”.
Continuous power makes the super factory run firmly
A super brain also requires “continuous power” to ensure stable operation. The Sallis data center uses Huawei's flagship Intelligent Power supply product, the UPS5000-H. Compared with some similar products on the market, the UPS5000-H is more powerful than the UPS5000.
Compared with some similar products on the market, Huawei's UPS5000-H can be considered a compact product, but it is a small piece with great wisdom. It adopts a 100kVA/3U ultra-high-density power module, which can achieve one megawatt for each cabinet, effectively saving floor space and installation time, and its system efficiency is as high as 97%, with low load and high efficiency in hibernation mode, which is capable of powering nearly 100 servers at the same time to guarantee the stable operation of the “super brain”. The “super brain” is always in an optimal state, providing all-round support for the efficient operation of the super factory.
In addition, Huawei UPS5000-H relies on iPower intelligent means to enhance system reliability and simplify operation and maintenance. Under the intelligent online mode, the system efficiency is as high as 99.1%, and it supports 0ms switching between all modes, which realizes high efficiency and guarantees continuous and uninterrupted power supply at the same time.
